Lisa launched her bookkeeping business just this past year, and it’s already thriving! She came to me looking for a professional web presence that she could easily update and expand as her business grows—something clean, approachable, and built to evolve.

We decided that Squarespace was the perfect platform for her needs. It’s user-friendly, visually flexible, and allows small business owners like Lisa to make quick updates without needing a designer every time. My goal with every Squarespace project is to create a site that’s not only beautiful but also strategic and easy to manage long-term.

For content and messaging, I guided Lisa through the Donald Miller StoryBrand framework, a proven method I use to help clients clarify their message and connect with their audience. This process focuses on positioning the client’s business as the guide and the customer as the hero—which makes the copy much more engaging and effective. Together, we refined her website content to clearly communicate who she helps, what she offers, and why Truetally is the smart choice for small business owners looking for financial clarity and peace of mind.

Visually, I incorporated carefully selected stock photography to give the site a polished, cohesive look. While I always recommend investing in custom brand photography when possible, thoughtfully art-directed stock photos can absolutely work—especially for new businesses. The key is making sure the images align with the brand’s personality and feel authentic. And of course, Lisa’s professional headshot adds that personal touch and builds trust right away.

The end result is a clean, modern one-page Squarespace site that reflects Lisa’s professionalism and attention to detail while leaving plenty of room to grow. I’m proud of what we created together—it’s a perfect example of how even a simple website can make a powerful first impression.

If you’re a local business owner looking for Buffalo NY web design or Squarespace website design, I’d love to help you create a site that feels like you—strategic, beautiful, and ready to grow right alongside your business.
